Life can feel overwhelming at times, and I believe no one should have to face those struggles alone. Growing up in a military-oriented community, I saw firsthand how resilience and strength are often expected, but also how mental health needs can be overlooked. That experience instilled in me a deep commitment to helping others navigate challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope.
As a clinician, I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they face anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship stress. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. I see therapy as a space for both emotional safety and honest exploration. I honor each client’s lived experience and tailor my approach to their cultural, spiritual, and personal values.
My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect, always focusing on the unique needs of each individual. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), attachment-based models, and trauma-informed care. While techniques and models help guide treatment, I believe the heart of counseling is the therapeutic relationship. Healing happens through connection, trust, and feeling understood.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, crafting and hanging out with family and friends. These outlets bring me balance and joy, which I carry into my counseling work.
