Maddie Hare, LMHCA

I have always been fascinated by the human experience: the stories we carry, the ways we make meaning of our lives, and our incredible capacity to grow and heal. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we reconnect with ourselves as whole people: our thoughts, emotions, values, relationships, and the wisdom of our bodies.

I take a holistic, collaborative, and person-centered approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and other experiential approaches. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe to slow down, deepen your self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.

I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and spirituality. Many of my clients are naturally curious about themselves and are seeking a deeper understanding of the patterns and experiences that shape their lives. My approach is often a great fit for those who value a holistic approach and are interested in exploring the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in outdoor recreation and wilderness therapy, experiences that profoundly shaped the way I understand resilience, connection, and healing. I’m also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and trained breathwork and meditation facilitator, and these practices continue to influence the way I show up both personally and professionally.

Outside of therapy, you’ll usually find me exploring the Pacific Northwest: hiking, biking, backpacking, camping, or catching live music with the people I love. Caring for my own well-being through movement practices, time in nature, and meaningful relationships reminds me that healing isn’t something we arrive at once and for all… it’s an ongoing practice. My intention is to bring that same spirit of curiosity, presence, and compassion into the therapy room, and it’s an honor to walk alongside others as they discover what that journey looks like for them.
