Headshot of Annie MillerSometimes life leaves us carrying things we were never meant to carry alone. Whether those burdens come from painful experiences, trauma, difficult relationships, or seasons of uncertainty, they can affect how we see ourselves and the world around us. Starting therapy is a courageous step, and you deserve a space where you can be met with compassion, respect, and genuine understanding.

My approach is integrative and draws from several therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Reality Therapy, and Existential Therapy. Together, we can explore the thoughts, emotions, patterns, values, and experiences that may be influencing your life and work toward greater freedom, meaning, and empowerment.

I am particularly passionate about trauma-informed care and believe that healing does not require us to erase or forget difficult experiences. Rather, it can involve developing a deeper understanding of what we have lived through, recognizing how those experiences have shaped us and learning new ways of responding to life’s challenges. I deeply respect the courage it takes to face painful experiences, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing and a more empowered future.

Above all, I want my clients to know that they do not have to navigate life’s hardships alone. My hope is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and valued as you are, while also feeling encouraged to grow into the person you want to become. Our experiences shape us, but they do not have to define us.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, exploring the outdoors, and finding opportunities to slow down and enjoy the beauty of everyday life.
