I am deeply passionate and grateful to work as a mental health therapist. I feel honored and humbled to get to walk beside people on their healing and growth journeys. Every day, I get to witness people showing up for and caring for themselves in brave and beautiful ways in therapy. I find this deeply sacred work.
With my clients, I am known for being genuine and caring. I am non-judgmental and open in my approach; I believe that your emotions, even the painful ones, are here to guide you towards deeper understanding and healing.
In my career as a licensed mental health therapist, I have been privileged to work with people from many backgrounds, especially survivors of trauma, including abuse survivors and people who came to the U.S. as refugees. As a person who was born and raised overseas, I am also deeply familiar with some of the unique aspects of expat life, including cultural stress.
I love to learn new ways to help people heal and grow. I have some training in Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, art based interventions, attachment therapy, and more. I strive to continue growing and learning, including current work to be trained in EMDR.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cooking, painting, playing board games, and hiking.
I hope we can work together to help you more fully alive, empowered and free.
