Life can feel overwhelming at times, and I believe no one should have to face those struggles alone. Growing up in a military-oriented community, I saw firsthand how resilience and strength are often expected, but also how mental health needs can be overlooked. That experience instilled in me a deep commitment to helping others navigate challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope.
As a clinician, I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they face anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship stress. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect, always focusing on the unique needs of each individual.
I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based models, and trauma-informed care. While techniques and models guide me, I believe the heart of counseling is the therapeutic relationship, being fully present and walking with clients through their healing journey.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, crafting and hanging out with family and friends. These outlets bring me balance and joy, which I carry into my counseling work.
