Tanja Roatch, LMHCA

Tanja-RoatchI know, it may seem difficult to first talk about private issues with a new person. Listening, accepting you where you are now, and supporting you
in your next steps to healing is where we begin in our therapeutic
relationship.

I specialize in Mental health therapy for children, adults, couples, and
families experiencing ADHD, adjustments, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, PTSD, complicated mental health situations, and diagnoses.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor offering a person-centered
approach providing psychoeducation with empirical based interventions for behavioral development, hope, and insight for change: MI, ACT, CBT, TF-CBT, CBT-P, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), DBT teen, Child Play Therapy, Art & Positive Therapy, and currently training in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).

My inspiration in the Mental Health field came from serving my community. I have 15 years of experience working with children and families: Community Mental Health, Military, and first responders, Celebrate Recovery Kids, Fostering Hope, ECH-Family Facilitator and Educator.

When I am not in the therapy office, you will find me enjoying my family, and our dogs, living green, health, and wellness. My favorite things “Now” are paddle boarding, gardening, and hiking with my puppy, Dakota, we call her “Tota-Pop”.

I look forward to working with you on your journey and helping you process new beginnings.

“When I am more flexible, I am open to more possibilities and the result is so much more than I expected” ~ Tanja D’lyn
