Kirsten Wright, LMHCA

Embarking on a career in mental health, my journey was fueled by a quest for understanding and a desire to unravel life’s complexities. My path led me to a rewarding role as a therapist, where I dedicate myself to guiding others through their own intricate mazes of emotions and experiences.

Specializing in addressing the echoes of trauma, the whirlwinds of anxiety, the shadows of depression, and the unique challenges of life, my approach in therapy is marked by a blend of humor, care, and relaxation. Therapy becomes a balance of challenge and reward, a space where the heaviness of life is acknowledged and worked through, leading to profound transformations.

My training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Promoting First Relationships as well as other psychotherapy modalities, reflects my belief in the multitude of paths to healing. My studies also focused on Child and Adolescent Psychology and I have a passion for working with our youth, as well as their parents to create a cohesive family unit. I adopt an integrated, person-centered approach, recognizing the individuality of each journey and meeting each person right where they are in their life’s story.

Outside the therapy room, my world is enhanced by my partner and our children. My interests span a diverse range of hobbies from the arts to reading, as well as a love for baking and outdoor adventures.

In our work together, we’ll create a flexible, evidence-based plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. Your journey towards discovering and embracing your true self is a path I would be honored to share with you. Let’s embark on this therapeutic adventure together, blending professional expertise with a touch of creativity and fun, towards a more resilient, joyful, and authentic life.
